Vehicle Description
This 1972 green/blue vintage Bimmer is in fair condition and can still run with the best. Only 3 owners, none smoking, Selling to raise funds for my child's private project. Will accept $5,000 O.B.O.
Zero emissions, steel muffler system, 3.0 litre capacity, gets 12 miles per gallon, dual Weber carburetors that historically were made for standard production cars and factory racing applications on automotive marques). She also has matching in good condition Bridgestone tires with original rims.
Hunting for something a bit different for a project car? For those who don't know what a Bavaria is, it is the forerunner of the 5 Series. The first E3's came out in 1968 and the last one came alone in 1976 right on the heels of the 530i's arrival.
The Bavaria was a US-only model. Its nameplate was used to connect the car with its German origins, putting BMW alongside Mercedes in the luxury, performance market. It worked ... beautifully. Call anytime.
