1996 Ford Escort LX, 2 doors hatch back, fuschia, about 266,500 kms. Automatic transmission. Currently on winter tires and also comes with all season tires. New brakes, new engine battery, rear defroster and a great new sound system (Sony CD/radio MP3 player). The car was well taken care of while I was driving it (oil changes done on a regular basis and other maint as needed). The car has Aircare.
The car has been in one accident, a fender bender (has been fixed). The car is in good condition for it's age. A few cracks in the windshield,hardly any rust, the passenger door doesn't open from the inside, the hood doesn't open from the outside, the emergency lights don't work. The car works well, but would work better with some minor engine repair (estimated at $300). The car is for sale, must go ASAP (insurance needs renewing soon) as I no longer need it since moving to Vancouver; I mostly get around by bike, foot or transit. Price is $1400, OBO.
